Thats when I watched Nigel Mansell kick butt at PIR, then IRL came into play, they wanted to add more rookies, it was unsafe for the veterans like Al Unser and Emerson Fitt. Now, it's all about watching the Indy 500 where it's a mess of unexplained no rules where people even in the grand stands die because fans want to see more accidents or watching F1. Even the interveiws of an F1 driver and Indy/Nascar are so different, difference in like listening to a Scientist and a Wal-mart employee... without the TWANG. The only real racing are outside of the USA, other than SCCA, I do LOVE watching those races once I get Speed channel. I love watching outside of the US like Rally, Lemans, F1, even go-carting, awesome to watch, forget ovals, Villeneuve proved it in 1995 at Indy 500, from 1 lap behind he kicked everyone's butt, I've got a copy of it to prove it. Ovals are so easy, just slip-streaming and stay away from accidents, thats how to win. Too simple. There are no limits to F1, as long as the F1 teams stay within the rules outlined by the FIA the sky is the limit. What an awesome concept.
